Blogging is a difficult thing.  If you write what you really feel, you can’t include your friends because a lot of what you think concerns them.  If you remain anonymous, you’re writing for a bunch of strangers, and it’s hard to get fired up about that.

By my count, this is my 5th blogging vehicle, and two of the old ones are still active.

I won’t use my real name, on this blog, but I won’t hesitate to let my family and friends know about it.  To have a readership that I care about is more imporant than any petty motivation to dish about them.

My real motivation here is to find a medium by which to express myself, which no other blog has given me in the past.
